Hire vs Professional carpet cleaning

Hire vs Professional carpet cleaningIf your thinking about cleaning your carpets yourself then think about it carefully, if you hire a machine from your local diy store then there are pitfalls and you might be wasting your money.
Here are a few facts you should think about.
Hire Equipment Power
Domestic carpet cleaning machines or hire machines are very under powered and are often not maintained very well.
A pro carpet cleaner will have far superior machinery and will be maintained daily.
Also think about the size of the machine, if you can get a hire machine into your car but we have a van to carry the equipment around you would assume that our equipment is more powerful. (Bigger is better most of the time)
Cleaning chemicals
Most carpet cleaning machines use chemicals to rinse the carpet fibers, The problem with hire machines is that you only get standard chemicals and they often wont do what they say they will.
Pro carpet cleaners spend lots of time and money training and updating there knowledge of the right chemicals to use and the methods too use them. Drying times
Hire machines will leave your carpets wet for a long time, I had a customer tell me that there carpets where wet for 2 days!!!
Our carpet cleaning will leave your carpet and upholstery dry within 2 hrs.

Finally let’s compare the cost! Machine Rental. Cleaning liquids. Stain removers. High traffic area cleaner. It soon adds up! My comparison, comparing the approximate costs to clean an average 3 bedroom house suggests that the DIY route is likely to be about half the price of professional carpet cleaning (excluding the cost of your time and assuming nothing costly goes wrong with the machine or the carpet of course!)
Lets talk carpet cleaning costHire machines will usually cost around £40 for a weekend add the chemicals then your talking £60 to £70 , you have to set some of your time aside too which doesn’t cost you but still its time you could be doing something else.
Pro carpet cleaners price each job differently depending on many factors, The cost and the result is far better than you would think often its only 40% to 50% more.
What you have to bear in mind is that if you attempt to clean yourself and you dont get the result you want you will be disappointed, then you will either leave it or get a pro to clean it anyway.
If your moving out of a rented property and you try to do it yourself you will most likely end up losing your deposit anyway so it makes sense all round to just employ a professional carpet cleaner in Bristol.
